Mental Wellness in the Workplace

This engaging and interactive workshop is designed for entrepreneurs and seasoned business professionals interested in acquiring insights, resources, and tools to support mental wellness in the workplace. We’ll discuss the incidence and impact of mental health and explore how to support an inclusive workplace environment.
Co-presenters: Kate Noelke and Julie Kiehne, Winona State University
Kate Noelke serves as Director of Integrated Wellness at Winona State University. In her day-to-day, she focuses on coalition building for innovative ways to support the dynamic intersections of well-being and success, across cultures, experiences, values, and health conditions. Using a public health approach rooted in population-based equity initiatives, Kate strengthens access to networks of support on campus and across MN. Kate is also a passionate Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid trainer, with over 700 successful students!
Julie Kiehne is an administrative professional with experience in educational, managerial, and executive roles. Serving as Winona State University’s Business Outreach Coordinator, she is committed to delivering high quality, customized training programs tailored to improve organizations’ vitality in the region. Julie earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership at Winona State University. Her Master’s capstone project included research on Workplace Mental Health, and she conducted a Toolkit Usability Study with forty midwestern business leaders.
